 I have ordered a 1/6th scale German Panzer III Panzerkampfwagen III (50mm) Ausf L from Armortek in the UK.
The Panzer III model is 41" long and weighs about 140lbs and is constructed primarily from steel and aluminum with other cast alloys and materials used as appropriate. The thickness of the armor is even to scale.
The model will also be fully radio controlled using 2 main drive 24 volt 450 watt motors, a two further 24v motors for turret rotation and main gun elevation. To compliment the scale effect there will also be a sophisticated sound system with digital recordings of the real tank and a smoke system to simulate the exhaust.
